Hababkuk 2:2 (NKJV) Then the LORD answered me and said: “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. 3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”

At Valley Victory Church, we want to develop a culture of blessing. It is imperative that we see what the Lord is doing, so that we can go with Him and do as He does. (John 5:19) God’s Word and our communication and relationship with Him are vital for experiencing His life to it fullest.

Here is our vision and mission as a local church and as a part of an Apostolic Church planting movement. We have a plan...a flexible plan. Pro 16:9 says, “In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps.” God is in control. We will follow!

Matthew 28:18-20 (NKJV)
18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

• A fully devoted disciple of Christ is someone who has been Born Again, empowered by the Holy Spirit and is walking in a newness of life and serving in a newness of spirit (Rom 6:4; 7:6).
  
  
• They have set their affections on God and are consumed with being about His business. (Col. 3:1-10)
  
  
• They are constantly longing to know God better and they draw closer to Him each day.(Phil 3:10).
  
  
• They are learners and grow in the knowledge of God through studying and practicing the Holy Scriptures.(1 Pe 2:2; 2 Tim 3:16)
  
  
• Their walk is not mere words but it is a walk noticed by mankind (1Jn 3:18; Matt 5:16; 2 Cor. 3:2).
  
  
• A fully devoted disciple of Christ recognizes their high calling and God given gifts, and uses them to serve others and to build the Body of Christ.(1 Cor 1:2; Rom 12:6)
  
  
• They are godly stewards of their time, treasures, and talents.
  
  
• A fully devoted disciple of Christ desires to be conformed to the image of Christ (Rom 8:29; 2 Cor 3:18; Col 3:10)

GATHER

We labor to reach every available person, by every available means, at every available time with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Go and get them: Evangelism and Outreach – We will do what we can to “Go into all the world,” by both starting in our own little world, and reaching beyond into all worlds through Victory Missions, to the uttermost parts of the earth.” We will pay attention to the needs of our community and seek the Lord on the best ways to address the issues we find and to carry the gospel of Christ to our community in our words and actions.

Attract them: By being salt and light – Through our passionate and purposeful lifestyles, we will attract people to Christ. Through our friendly, gracious, and warm expressions of Christ’s love, they will know that we are His disciples.

EQUIP

We will provide teaching, training and opportunities for practical application of Biblical principles and truth, for personal development, fruitfulness and God honoring exploits.
We will provide:

• Solid Biblically based doctrine from the Word of God
• Instruction and exhortations to walk in the Will of God
• Instruction and modeling lifestyles in the Ways of God
  
  

The Covenant Class: Before you tie yourself to any dock you want to make sure the moorings are sound. Before people make a covenant connection with the ministry they will need to know what they are connecting to.

The Covenant class is a session that gives the history and vision of Valley Victory Church. You will learn our purpose, passion, and philosophy of ministry, as well as learn the nuts and bolts of church leadership, church government, ministry management and leadership development.

It is important to us to get to know those who would consider VVC home. We will also share the international scope of our ministry as part of the Victory Churches International family of churches

The Foundation Track:

The New Believer’s Class: A series of Bible classes, especially designed for the new believer. Its purpose is to ground them in a clear understanding of the new life they have in God, through Jesus Christ.

The Foundation class: A foundational doctrines course whose purpose is to ground a disciple in foundational truths as found in Hebrews 6:1, 2 and in the book of Romans.

The Discipleship Track

Life Track: Our Life Track is a discipleship track that can be taught one on one, in a group, or as an individual Bible study. It is designed to take the disciple through a series of lessons that deal with four primary areas. They are: 1. Your Personal life, 2. Being Established in Christ, 3. Walking with others, and 4. Important Doctrinal Topics.

Victory School of the Bible
Victory Bible College correspondence courses are available for those desiring to develop their Bible knowledge and/or earn a degree in Theology. We will pursue the establishment of a VBCI satellite college, in the future, for the training and continued development of ministry leaders.

The Leadership Track
The Leadership Preparation Series is a track for the continued development a disciples into leadership roles, through training, practical application in service, and in higher levels of ministry and release.

The called and equipped disciple will be committed and involved. Some may feel a specific call to ministry. Victory churches have an extended network for those called to missions. Training is provided through the VCI Missions course and at specific missions training opportunities around the world. Church Planting schools are also held on a regular basis for those who feel a call to plant a church or be part of a church planting team.

Other Development Opportunities

Victory Seminars and Conferences
We will host seminars and conferences which are designed to liberate, inspire, equip, and minister to the Body of Christ. The purpose is for the truths that are presented to set people free from the strongholds of an unenlightened life and put them on God’s path to holiness, fruitfulness and success.

Specialized training
Specialized training will be given for those serving others through the ministry. Some of the training will include training for: children’s and youth workers, small group leaders, mission’s teams, musicians and singers, ushers, greeters, visitation teams, etc. This training will be both Biblical and practical. Because our vision is to develop fully devoted Disciples of Christ, the one-on-one mentor and disciple approach will be utilized along with classroom training.

Finding your place of expression and service is vital to your development as a Disciple of Jesus. Every believer is a minister and has something to offer. We have a list of areas where you can express your gift and grow in grace and be strengthened in character and personal impact. You are important! We all need what God has placed in you and you need to express it for ultimate fulfillment.

Evangelistic and missions training and opportunities will be presented. We desire to reach out into areas where we can establish a lasting influence both here and abroad and where people can be growing under supervision

Small group meetings will host a variety of opportunities for people to be involved, equipped and to receive ministry. There can be a score of formats, meeting places, and purposes for these groups. It may be necessary, at times, for church leadership to determine a curriculum for these groups that will coincide with the direction of the Lord for a specific season. These groups should be Christ centered, Bible based, and Holy Spirit directed.

LAUNCH

We are a releasing and sending church. We release people into Holy Spirit directed service as they are equipped and ready to be released. This release may be into local areas of oversight and responsibility, but we see many being released as part of church planting teams, in the area, the nation, and the world.
Part of our mission is to plant church planting churches. Not only are we commission to reproduce ourselves through developing fully devoted Disciples of Christ, but we are commanded to be fruitful and multiply. Church planting has been recognized as the most effective way to fulfill the Great Commission. It causes multiplication to take place in the lives of the people involved and is a way to establish lasting fruit for God.
